OmniLux LED Light Therapy

The leader in non-invasive LED technology since 2003, Omnilux is the gold-standard in non-thermal phototherapy skin treatment.  Omnilux has more FDA cleared indications than any other brand and its technology has been validated in more than 30 peer-reviewed published studies. It has been clinically proven to stimulate the body’s own natural processes to help counter the effects of sun damage, acne prone skin, and a variety of other skin conditions.

Unlike a number of competitor products, each Omnilux treatment head – revive2, blue and plus – contains only single wavelength LEDs specifically designed to deliver optimized intensities of light. Additionally, the LEDs are packed closely together to allow the maximum light and proven dosages to be delivered to the treatment area, eliminating zones of undertreatment common in competitive systems.

Many competitors offer treatment heads containing 2, 3 or even 4 different colored LEDs – and not closely packed. Most do not have clinical studies to support their efficacy, nor do they deliver the necessary dosages required for desired results.

Omnilux Revive

Omnilux revive2™ transmits red light (633nm) for a variety of applications including skin rejuvenation / wrinkle reduction, acne (anti-inflammatory), dyschromia of the skin such as pigmentation and rosacea, and Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) for the treatment of certain non-melanoma skin cancers[1]. Omnilux revive2 has both a rejuvenating and anti-inflammatory effect on the skin. Proven to increase cellular energy (ATP) which in turn “kick starts” cellular renewal. Highly absorbed by fibroblasts increasing the synthesis of collagen it has also been proven to stimulate blood circulation and lymphatic flow to eliminate toxins, accelerate healing and calm the skin.

Treatments

  • Alone or alternating with Omnilux plus for the treatment of periorbital wrinkles and the visible signs of photodamage

  • Alternating treatments with Omnilux blue for the treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris

  • Use alone as an adjunct to fillers, microdermabrasion, micro needling etc. – helps calm the skin and reduce the risk of PIH[1]

  • Alone or alternating with Omnilux plus to accelerate wound healing post-surgical procedures[1]

  • Use with a topical photosensitizer for the treatment of non-melanoma skin cancers

Omnilux Plus

Omnilux plus™ transmits infra-red light (830nm) and is the most deeply penetrating wavelength, working indirectly through cell membrane absorption to stimulate complex cellular processes that result in increased collagen, elastin and growth factor production to treat the visible signs of photodamage and stimulate cellular repair mechanisms essential in the wound healing process.
